Does you school have a separate technician for AV equipment?
We have three IT technicians and AV has just over time been incorporated into our job which although I don't mind doing it, means less time spent doing the stuff I was originally employed to do!
We now have a projector or interactive screen in 30+ classrooms, two conference rooms with full video conferencing, surround sound/big screen in the main hall plus flexcams, CCTV (not sure why we look after that!) and some special stuff - interactive screens around school etc. It's becoming a job in itself.
Just wondered at what point we should have got a dedicated AV tech or id it generally just part and parcel of an IT tech's job?
